Jill will be joining Dennis Altman and Paula Gerber on a Clunes Booktown panel on 22 March 2026 on the topic "Defiantly Queer": Throughout history, queer people have struggled for equal rights and recognition. Trans rights are currently under siege gobally, with gay and lesbian rights in peril throughout history. Human rights laywer Paula Gerber leads a discussion of the historial and present challenges with writer Dennis Altman, and Jill Blee, biographer of one of the first Victorian sex-change operation recipients.
